Copacabana was once the nicest neighborhood to live in Rio, a very wanted address, but today this fame went to Ipanema and Leblon. But "Copa", as it is affectionately called, still have a lot of charm. Many of the residents here are senior citizens who continued walking through the neighborhood since the 50s, is an ideal place for those who have retired.
Opposite the famous boardwalk with waves format is the Copacabana Palace, the famous hotel that opens the door to celebrities from around the world. And here comes a hint, the hotel opens its doors to a delicious breakfast - it's a little bit expensive, but worth it!
The neighborhood has three subway stations, going anywhere from here is easy. But you can do everything here walking or by bike, and riding around here is always a pleasure.
